iCook After-School - Cooking Class For Kids - Fall - Sugar & Spice Fall - Sugar & Spice (And Everything Nice!) In our Sugar and Spice culinary program, young chefs create one sweet and one savory recipe each class while building confidence and essential kitchen skills. Students learn hands-on techniques such as measuring, mixing, layering, folding, glazing, and plating as they prepare recipes like Pumpkin Cream Trifle, Chocolate Orange Tart, and Triple Berry Pancake Muffins. Through themed lessons, they discover how fresh, seasonal ingredients and flavorful spices can transform everyday recipes into delicious, nutritious dishes while exploring where food comes from and the science of flavor. By the end of the program, students will have the skills and creativity to recreate healthy, flavorful recipes at home. Please list any allergies when you register.Foundational cooking skills will be taught, including proper techniques for baking, measuring, mixing, slicing, dicing, and, of course, kitchen safety! TEAC After School Open Studio Tuesdays - TEAC After School Tuesdays - Fall Have your child join us 1, 2, 3 or 4 days after school at TEAC (The Easton Arts Center) for OPEN STUDIO. Students will have the freedom to use their creative license with some guided instruction. Students will have access to a wide variety of materials including paint, drawing supplies, cardboard, foam, model magic, fabric, beads, glue and plenty of recycled material. Children ages 8+ will have the option to participate in Needlepoint and crochet on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Please dress them for a mess and pack an optional snack. Please keep in mind we are a nut-free facility. All session are 6 weeks. Max: 18Fall Tuesdays: 9/8 - 10/13Late Fall Tuesdays: 10/20 - 12/1, (no class on 11/3)Bonus Days: 12/8 & 12/15 Fee: $35/per dayTime: 3:50pm-5:20pmAges: 4 - 11Fee: $192.00/per 6-week sessionLocation: TEAC - 652 Morehouse Road*There is no prorating for missed classes or late registrations. You can do a make-up class on a different day after school if the class is not full.*TRANSPORTATION~ TEAC uses bus #11 to bring children to the Easton Arts Center from SSES. Space is limited.~ Children must be listed as bus #11 in dismissal manager before 1:30pm on the day of each art class. (By 11am on 1/2 days)~ Parents/caregivers always have the option to drive their child.LATE PICK UPSThe Easton Arts Center Programs conclude at a specific time. We ask that parents make every effort to pick up their child/children on time. We do understand that sometimes circumstances arise and for this reason we will be instituting a 5-minute grace period for occasional, unforeseen delays. This grace period is not intended to extend the scheduled pickup time. Any child/children that are picked up after that 5-minute grace period, are considered a “late pick up” and will be charged a fee of $5, then $1 a minute each additional minute until pickup.
