We offer several age-appropriate opportunities for students to participate in a safe, supervised, and educational environment.Program OverviewHybrid Volunteer (Age 11 - During Scheduled Camp Week)This program is designed for students who have outgrown our traditional camp programs but wish to remain involved in a creative and supportive setting. Participants can work on their own art projects while assisting staff in a light, educational role. Responsibilities are flexible and always under direct supervision. Hybrid Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this is a non-paid, volunteer role focused on skill-building and engagement. Hybrid Volunteers pay a reduced registration fee of 50% off the regular camp fee to participate in this educational program.Volunteer (Ages 12–13)Volunteers gain exposure to a structured camp environment, assisting instructors with age-appropriate tasks such as supporting activities and helping younger campers under staff supervision. Responsibilities are moderate, guided, and educational. Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this remains a non-paid, volunteer role designed to build confidence and leadership skills.Counselor-in-Training (CIT) (Ages 14–15)The CIT program is an advanced leadership opportunity for teens ready to take on greater responsibility. CITs support instructors and counselors, assist with planning and leading activities, and help maintain a positive camp environment. This is a stipend-based program administered in accordance with town policies. CITs are expected to demonstrate commitment, teamwork, and communication skills.• Camp hours: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (CIT hours: 9:45 AM–2:15 PM)• Stipend: $50 per completed 5-day session (per town guidelines)Application RequirementsEach participant must submit the following:• Completed Application and Signed Contract (link at bottom under "Forms")• Completed W-9 Form (CIT's only) (link at bottom under "Forms")Eligibility & Guidelines:1. Each day we begin with a structured, instructed, seasonal and/or master artist-focused 25-45 min project. This gives children time to settle in and meet other children. The rest of the day, children will have the creative license to begin to create whatever they dream with full use of both studios (most days). Clear your trunks! They will use many recycled materials, fabric, foam (oh the foam), paint and glue of course and tons of other supplies they are free to use with the assistance of our CITs, volunteers and Miss Keri.~ SUNSCREEN - There will be playground time as well as outdoor art so please apply sunscreen.~ SNACK & LUNCH - Pack a nut-free lunch/snack and refillable water bottle.All weeks are Mon-FriWeek 4: August 17-21Time: 10:00am - 2:00pmAges: 4+Fee: $348/per weekMax 18 campers Late Pick UpsThe Easton Arts Center Programs conclude at a specific time. 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM	Pickleball Lessons - Adult Summer Evenings - Adult Pickleball - 6:00pm Adult Pickleball lessons are being offered through Fairfield County Tennis during the summer. Players will learn how to serve, dink, transition, and the general rules and scoring. More advanced players will focus a little bit more on placement and strategy. The lesson will focus on teaching basic strokes and the rules of the game. Eventually, players can play match play in this friendly setup. This is a great way to keep active and exercise while having fun. Players should wear tennis or court shoes. Bring your own paddle and water bottle. 3:50 PM - 5:20 PM	TEAC After School Open Studio Tuesdays - TEAC After School Tuesdays - Fall Have your child join us 1, 2, 3 or 4 days after school at TEAC (The Easton Arts Center) for OPEN STUDIO. Students will have the freedom to use their creative license with some guided instruction. Students will have access to a wide variety of materials including paint, drawing supplies, cardboard, foam, model magic, fabric, beads, glue and plenty of recycled material. Children ages 8+ will have the option to participate in Needlepoint and crochet on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Please dress them for a mess and pack an optional snack. Please keep in mind we are a nut-free facility. All session are 6 weeks. (By 11am on 1/2 days)~ Parents/caregivers always have the option to drive their child.LATE PICK UPSThe Easton Arts Center Programs conclude at a specific time. We ask that parents make every effort to pick up their child/children on time. We do understand that sometimes circumstances arise and for this reason we will be instituting a 5-minute grace period for occasional, unforeseen delays. This grace period is not intended to extend the scheduled pickup time. Any child/children that are picked up after that 5-minute grace period, are considered a “late pick up” and will be charged a fee of $5, then $1 a minute each additional minute until pickup.
