TEAC invites your child to join our Open Studio Summer Camp! What to expect: Just like our Open Studio program, your child will enter the “messy studio” dressed for a mess and ready to CREATE. Each day we begin with a structured, instructed, seasonal and/or master artist-focused 25-45 min project. This gives children time to settle in and meet other children. The rest of the day, children will have the creative license to begin to create whatever they dream with full use of both studios (most days). Clear your trunks! USTA 10 and under tennis Match Play, designed for the junior player, will be played on a modified court with tennis balls designed for their specific skill level. TEAC CIT/Volunteer Summer Camp ProgramDEADLINE FOR SUMMER APPLICATIONS: MAY 15, 2026The Easton Arts Center follows all Easton Park and Recreation Department and Town of Easton guidelines for youth programs. We offer several age-appropriate opportunities for students to participate in a safe, supervised, and educational environment.Program OverviewHybrid Volunteer (Age 11 - During Scheduled Camp Week)This program is designed for students who have outgrown our traditional camp programs but wish to remain involved in a creative and supportive setting. Participants can work on their own art projects while assisting staff in a light, educational role. Responsibilities are flexible and always under direct supervision. Hybrid Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this is a non-paid, volunteer role focused on skill-building and engagement. Hybrid Volunteers pay a reduced registration fee of 50% off the regular camp fee to participate in this educational program.Volunteer (Ages 12–13)Volunteers gain exposure to a structured camp environment, assisting instructors with age-appropriate tasks such as supporting activities and helping younger campers under staff supervision. Responsibilities are moderate, guided, and educational. Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this remains a non-paid, volunteer role designed to build confidence and leadership skills.Counselor-in-Training (CIT) (Ages 14–15)The CIT program is an advanced leadership opportunity for teens ready to take on greater responsibility. CITs support instructors and counselors, assist with planning and leading activities, and help maintain a positive camp environment. This is a stipend-based program administered in accordance with town policies. CITs are expected to demonstrate commitment, teamwork, and communication skills.• Camp hours: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (CIT hours: 9:45 AM–2:15 PM)• Stipend: $50 per completed 5-day session (per town guidelines)Application RequirementsEach participant must submit the following:• Completed Application and Signed Contract (link at bottom under "Forms")• Completed W-9 Form (CIT's only) (link at bottom under "Forms")Eligibility & Guidelines:1. TEAC invites your child to join our Open Studio Summer Camp! What to expect: Just like our Open Studio program, your child will enter the “messy studio” dressed for a mess and ready to CREATE. Each day we begin with a structured, instructed, seasonal and/or master artist-focused 25-45 min project. This gives children time to settle in and meet other children. The rest of the day, children will have the creative license to begin to create whatever they dream with full use of both studios (most days). Clear your trunks! TEAC CIT/Volunteer Summer Camp ProgramDEADLINE FOR SUMMER APPLICATIONS: MAY 15, 2026The Easton Arts Center follows all Easton Park and Recreation Department and Town of Easton guidelines for youth programs. We offer several age-appropriate opportunities for students to participate in a safe, supervised, and educational environment.Program OverviewHybrid Volunteer (Age 11 - During Scheduled Camp Week)This program is designed for students who have outgrown our traditional camp programs but wish to remain involved in a creative and supportive setting. Participants can work on their own art projects while assisting staff in a light, educational role. Responsibilities are flexible and always under direct supervision. Hybrid Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this is a non-paid, volunteer role focused on skill-building and engagement. Hybrid Volunteers pay a reduced registration fee of 50% off the regular camp fee to participate in this educational program.Volunteer (Ages 12–13)Volunteers gain exposure to a structured camp environment, assisting instructors with age-appropriate tasks such as supporting activities and helping younger campers under staff supervision. Responsibilities are moderate, guided, and educational. Volunteers are not responsible for camper supervision, and this remains a non-paid, volunteer role designed to build confidence and leadership skills.Counselor-in-Training (CIT) (Ages 14–15)The CIT program is an advanced leadership opportunity for teens ready to take on greater responsibility. CITs support instructors and counselors, assist with planning and leading activities, and help maintain a positive camp environment. This is a stipend-based program administered in accordance with town policies. CITs are expected to demonstrate commitment, teamwork, and communication skills.• Camp hours: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM (CIT hours: 9:45 AM–2:15 PM)• Stipend: $50 per completed 5-day session (per town guidelines)Application RequirementsEach participant must submit the following:• Completed Application and Signed Contract (link at bottom under "Forms")• Completed W-9 Form (CIT's only) (link at bottom under "Forms")Eligibility & Guidelines:1. TEAC invites your child to join our Open Studio Summer Camp! What to expect: Just like our Open Studio program, your child will enter the “messy studio” dressed for a mess and ready to CREATE. Each day we begin with a structured, instructed, seasonal and/or master artist-focused 25-45 min project. This gives children time to settle in and meet other children. The rest of the day, children will have the creative license to begin to create whatever they dream with full use of both studios (most days). Clear your trunks! Adult Pickleball lessons are being offered through Fairfield County Tennis during the summer. Players will learn how to serve, dink, transition, and the general rules and scoring. More advanced players will focus a little bit more on placement and strategy. The lesson will focus on teaching basic strokes and the rules of the game. Eventually, players can play match play in this friendly setup. This is a great way to keep active and exercise while having fun. Players should wear tennis or court shoes.
