This program combines strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks volleyball instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The STEM Sports® volleyball curriculum enables students the opportunity to get behind the sport they love with modules centered around innovation and technology. Subjects include calculating contact time, optimal serving speed, the science behind serving and more! Participants will also learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting and serving through skill-based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.
Ability Level: This camp is perfect for the beginning to intermediate volleyball player.
Food to Bring: Two nut-free snacks & water bottle.
Gear to Bring: Appropriate clothing, volleyball shoes, (or comfortable athletic shoes) knee pads & sunscreen.

Fee: $186/per player
Late Policy - If you are running late, please call our P&R Office at (203)268-7200. We ask that parents make every effort to pick up their child/children on time. Any child who is picked up after the program concludes is considered a “late pick-up” and will be charged a fee, $10 for every 15 minutes starting at the time the program ends. This charge will be automatically charged to your account, with an email notifying you of the charge.
