Cross Country with CT Sports Network - NEW
CT Sports Network will be offering Cross Country after school clinics this fall at Samuel Staples Elementary. The clinics are open to all runners whether you are a beginner or an 'experienced' racer! Our weekly clinics will focus on age appropriate running games and basic running techniques along with running form and pacing while building endurance through running drills, games and core exercises.
All participants should have athletic shoes and water with them each class.
Dates: Fridays, Sept 25 - Nov 13, 6-weeks (no class on 10/9 & 10/30)
*Any make-ups will be added to the end of the session.
Time: 3:50pm-4:50pm
Grades: 2-5

Location: SSES Outdoors/gym on rain days
Important Information
- Please update dismissal manager to the Park & Rec activity. We can't accept children into the program who are not listed as the Park & Rec activity in dismissal manager.
- Children will be dismissed to the end of Main Street Hallway (HALLWAY BY THE LARGE GYM) to meet their instructor at 3:40pm where attendance will be taken. Please let your child know where they are to meet their instructor.
- PICK UP AT 4:50PM IS OUTSIDE BY THE PRE-K PLAYGROUND. Notification is needed if anyone other than those listed on the registration form will be picking up your child. Please note, proper ID must be presented.
- Late Policy - If you are running late or need to reach the class, please call our Ext Day room at (203)261-8705. We ask that parents make every effort to pick up their child/children on time. Any child who is picked up after the program concludes is considered a “late pick-up” and will be charged a fee, $10 for every 15 minutes starting at the time the program ends. This charge will be automatically charged to your account, with an email notifying you of the charge.
