9:00 AM - 3:00 PM    The Adventures of "YOU" Camp - The Adventures of "YOU" Camp, Week 1
My mission is to run a fun filled, positive, uplifting camp that helps each kid explore the uniqueness, and beauty of Self. The Adventure of "YOU". This week long camp will be full of plenty of hands on activities and creative tips and tools to help each child. They won’t even feel as if they are learning, because I have so many tricks up my sleeve. I am known for my outrageously fun half days and one thing I love to do is have a good time while feeling GOOD about SELF.  What do I do if my child doesn’t want to participate but as a parent I can definitely see a need for this??If this is you, let me share a story.  Freshman year of high school, my mother saw that I needed a positive outlet, I needed to belong to something. She decided to sign me up for color guard. She literally had to pull me into the color-guard meeting. I did not want anything to do with color guard! I didn't even know what color guard was! The next thing I knew, I was throwing a flag in the air and hoping I caught it. Fast forward to the end of my season, I loved it!  My confidence grew, I felt so proud that I was part of a team. I knew that if I could finish something that I at first didn't want anything to do with, I could achieve ANYTHING I put my mind to. I guess the Disney song is correct when it says, “Mothers Know Best!” (and fathers too of course!) Run by Keysha E., Supervisor of Extended Day!Dates: August 12 – August 16 Dates: August 19 – August 23Grades: 4 - 8       Time: 9:00am-3:00pm Fee: $175          Location: Ext Day Room, SSES room# 139 (May have a drop off day at a specific location TBD)Min. of 4
