9:00 AM - 1:00 PM    Volleyball Camp by Skyhawks - *NEW* - Volleyball
This program combines strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks volleyball instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The STEM Sports® volleyball curriculum enables students the opportunity to get behind the sport they love with modules centered around innovation and technology. Subjects include calculating contact time, optimal serving speed, the science behind serving and more! Participants will also learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, hitting and serving through skill-based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.Ability Level: This camp is perfect for the beginning to intermediate volleyball player.Food to Bring: Two snacks & water bottle (for programs four hours or less).Gear to Bring: Appropriate clothing, water bottle, volleyball shoes, (or comfortable athletic shoes) knee pads and sunscreen.Date: August 1 - 5 (M-F)Time: 9:00am-1:00pmAges: 10-14Location: Samuel Staples Elementary School (SSES) Big Gym Fee: $159
