TEAC Fine Art Fundamentals & Painting/The Next LevelStudents will learn fundamental methods of drawing and painting from life using live models and still life. Students will work in a variety of mediums: charcoal, watercolors, colored pencils and pastels.Painting/The Next Level - In order for students to develop and advance as artists they must have the necessary skills in order to become fine artists. In this class, your child will apply their skills from Fine Art Fundamentals and bring them into “The Next Level”. "Chess is the game of Thinking. Chess is Math. Chess has been proven to develop memory, concentration, focus, logical thinking and the ability to calculate. Classes will involve playing and learning-based on an established curriculum. The goal is to enable all students to play a reasonable game of chess by the end of the session. Mr. Glenn Budzinski has been a chess teacher, expert-level player and sanctioned U.S. Chess Federation tournament director for 40 years. Two of his students are current scholastic state chess champions. Make-up Date - This program will run until 6/7/19.  *Field Location Change - They will be on Lower Morehouse Field (turn down dirt road by Field of Dreams Baseball Field).  The last field on the left, farthest away from SSES.Get a head start at becoming a great soccer star with this program with Youth Elite Soccer. Children ages 3-5 can enroll in the program in which they will learn the basics with skills such as dribbling, passing, trapping and heading the ball. The after-school Trifitness Running Club gives younger athletes an entry into the popular, fun and healthy sport of running.  This class is led by Pascale Butcher, All-American Triathlete and owner of Trifitness of Fairfield. "Chess is the game of Thinking. Chess is Math. Chess has been proven to develop memory, concentration, focus, logical thinking and the ability to calculate. Classes will involve playing and learning-based on an established curriculum. The goal is to enable all students to play a reasonable game of chess by the end of the session. Mr. Glenn Budzinski has been a chess teacher, expert-level player and sanctioned U.S. Chess Federation tournament director for 40 years. Two of his students are current scholastic state chess champions. He is also the President of Connecticut Kids Play Chess, Inc., a certified non-profit organization that teaches chess throughout Western Connecticut." Make-up Date - This program will run until 6/7/19.  *Field Location Change - They will be on Lower Morehouse Field (turn down dirt road by Field of Dreams Baseball Field).  The last field on the left, farthest away from SSES.Get a head start at becoming a great soccer star with this program with Youth Elite Soccer. Children ages 3-5 can enroll in the program in which they will learn the basics with skills such as dribbling, passing, trapping and heading the ball. The after-school Trifitness Running Club gives younger athletes an entry into the popular, fun and healthy sport of running.  This class is led by Pascale Butcher, All-American Triathlete and owner of Trifitness of Fairfield. TEAC has bus (#8) that brings children to the Park & Recreation office from SSES on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. For those campers who can’t get enough of Easton Sunshine Park, we’ve extended the hours! Come join our Tree House Gang and spend your mornings and afternoons with us!Tree House Gang runs from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. There is a min of 5 children required for AM & PM. AM: $30 per week for 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM ($8/day drop in fee)(2nd sibling and additional siblings fee $20 per week/$5 per day)PM: $60 per week for 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM  ($20/day drop in fee) (2nd sibling and additional siblings fee $50 per week/$10 per day) If school is extended into the first week of camp you will receive a daily credit of $6 AM & $12 PM per missed day of Tree House. 2nd sibling rates still apply. This summer we will be offering days of inflatable water slide or slip n' slide use to keep cool as well as our improved beach front for building sand castles and canoeing on our pond. We will be having, "THEMED DAYS" and, "TIE DYE TUESDAYS".We offer a lunch option for $35 per week which offers campers the option to have lunch at our snack shack at camp. For those campers who can’t get enough of Easton Sunshine Park, we’ve extended the hours! Come join our Tree House Gang and spend your mornings and afternoons with us!Tree House Gang runs from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. There is a min of 5 children required for AM & PM. AM: $30 per week for 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM ($8/day drop in fee)(2nd sibling and additional siblings fee $20 per week/$5 per day)PM: $60 per week for 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM  ($20/day drop in fee) (2nd sibling and additional siblings fee $50 per week/$10 per day) If school is extended into the first week of camp you will receive a daily credit of $6 AM & $12 PM per missed day of Tree House. 2nd sibling rates still apply. For week 2 (7/1 – 7/3) all who register will receive an automatic discount of  $12 AM & $24 PM, as there is no camp on Wed, July 4. 2nd sibling rates still apply.
